sculpture  /  studio photography  /  photography

the following work comes from my own automatic documentation of the world around me. as my stockpile of images continued to build I began searching for new methods of displaying photographs that would allow them to take on new life and meaning. in this way, the photographs themselves become the art object. the sculptural and installation work draws on the imagery to make playful connections, create new forms, and reference spatial relationships. the imagery draws on relationships to objects, life, death, love, and the observation of flora and fauna within the urban environment.
